The company HERMES- Harisiadis has been involved in the food and beverages sector for the past 30 years. The initial focus was ship provisioning and this remains one of our most important activities.
As the company has grown, our activities have expanded to cover other markets such as airline & hotel catering, humanitarian aid packages and public- sector institution and service procurement. Over the past decade, in our effort to provide integrated services in the ship provisioning sector, we have widened our activities to cover the supply of industrial materials for ships as well.
At the same time, we place particular emphasis on Greece' s domestic foodstuff' s market having developed a powerful, versatile nationwide sales force. Seeking to vertically integrate our activities, our company has acquired one of the most traditional- style food storage companies in Greece, Cold Store of Greece.
In our effort to cover the majority of the Greek state in geographical terms, we have developed a service network based in Piraeus with branches in Patras, Heraklion on Crete, and Thessaloniki. Today our Company has state- of- the- art facilities across the country covering a total surface area of 21,000 m2. HERMES- Harisiadis' cold storage facilities offer more than 30,000 m3 and our fleet consists of 15 trucks and 10 vans. The Company holds total quality assurance certification in line with cutting edge standards and since the very outset has based its success on a complement of fully trained staff that now number more than 120 individuals.
